9/11/2023: HISTORIC FOR NGA MARINE SERVICES LTD-GABON
NGA Marine Services LTD proudly crossed another milestone in its history on September 11, when it opened its doors for the first day of trading as a full-fledged Gabon corporate entity. In gestation for years, due to the brutal, prolonged, and COVID-19-enabled economic global meltdown, the opening is a bold step to bring its 28 years of seafarer development and placement experience to the Gabonese marketplace. According to Gregory Alem, F.I.C.S, the opening irrespective of the perceptible sluggish recovery of the oil and gas industry in Gabon, and the political upheavals experienced in the Central African country lately, is a demonstration of its mission to bring the blue economy value to its youths. As well as partake in changing the narrative that Gabon is a tough business environment by being a truly engaged, equal opportunity, and inclusiveness-driven corporate citizen.
In addition to welcoming the new Board members, and stakeholders of NGA Gabon to our fold, we take special delight in welcoming Ms. Sono Line Marcy Felicite, who assumed duties as our first office Administrative Assistant of the record. She holds a BSc in Finance & Accounting, and is proficient in both English and French, fitting squarely into what Gabonese fondly calls the ‘Commonwealth’ generation X.
