In its quest to earn the Ship Manning Office appointment for crewing its flagship dredger Mont Mandara, floated by the Autonomous Port of Douala (PAD) through its Dredging Management Unit (RDD), NGA’s team, led by its Managing Director, Mr. Gregory Alem, F.I.C.S, presented its market offer to the RDD/PAD team of scrutineers.

• Its humble creation in 1992, and operational take-off on 1 May 1994

• Enthusiastic uptake of IMO’s STCW’95 as revised, and ILO/MLC 2006 as revised, leading to huge investment in training of over 250 Seafarers, drawn from Cameroon, Congo – Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon to meet these standards. Both managerial and field operations staff.

• Producing the first West African company member of the prestigious Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS).

• Commitment to Continuous Professional Development as an instrument of gender equity. In so doing, producing one of the first two lady Chartered Shipbrokers.

• Shore base and vessel manning agent for an array of industry founders and leaders: Tidewater Marine Inc, Maersk Supply Division and Drilling, OIL/OSA Marine, Bourbon Offshore Cameroon, Exmar Offshore, Willbros Nigeria, Smit-Lamnalco, GEOMS-REPASA Equatorial Guinea, EG-LNG, Saudi Arabia’s Royal Conservation Society via Leoron.

• Participation in discussions and the eventual launching of the African Maritime Administrators forum in Mombasa – Kenya

• Participation in national discussions on effective implementation and eventual White listing of Cameroon by the International Maritime Organization.

• Its regional footprints with operations in Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Congo Brazzaville, and Ghana.

Reviewing the presentation, and eventual award of the contract to crew Mont Mandara. A staunch promoter of Cameroonian and African seafarers' local content solutions, UK-based retired former Regional Managing Director for Tidewater Marine West Africa, Mr. Les K.
